Like
the Signs of the Zodiac, the Tarot with its archetypes
has much to offer us. The cards of the Tarot are not
magic but highlight, in a rather Everyman fashion, the
lessons and insights we can all learn from the
challenges of our lives. As the cards are drawn, they
offer an insight, a watchword, a goal or a lesson that
serves to guide us to lives of greater satisfaction
and joy.
To
get the greatest benefit from Tarotscopes, read the
focus card for the month. This is the guide card for
us all. Then read the card for your Sun Sign. This is
the particular insight or lesson for you. Keep them
both in mind as you move through the month, applying

Focus Card for
November: 7 Wands.
This month, be
yourself without fear! Say what you mean, stand tall
in your truth, and do not be swayed by those who would
have you conform to their ways of doing, being, and
living. Honour your own truth.
ARIES: 8 Cups
What have you
been hanging onto or keeping because others thought it
was right/best/what you should do? Listen to your own
heart; when it is time to release and let go,
you’ll know what to do. Do it, and release any
lingering regrets as well.
TAURUS: 6 Lovers
Be watchful in
your relationships this month - all of them. Wherever
you find yourself participating not as a full and
joyful partner but as one who is going through the
motions, take a step back. Note your feelings and
wishes in the matter and let your inner wisdom guide
you. You know what you want.
GEMINI: 7 Cups
Take a good look
at your own process of choosing and deciding. Who are
you consulting? Who offers their counsel without being
asked? Whose counsel do you respect? Whose will do you
honour? Don’t be a reed blown by this wind or
that; it’s time to be an oak and make your own
decisions.
CANCER:8 Wands
Take heart and
take action! Why have you been hanging back? Is there
another you wish to please or satisfy instead of
yourself? Make yourself happy; only then can you truly
please and satisfy others without becoming depleted.
LEO: 2 Cups
Let sweet
harmony be your goal this month, Leo - not only
harmony in relationships with others but harmony
within yourself, too. That inner harmony is disturbed
when what we do or say is out of line with how we feel
or what we think. Don’t let fear of others’
responses keep you from being yourself.
VIRGO: Ace Swords
Now the scales
fall from your eyes and, finally, you see what
you’ve been blind to for so long. Welcome your
new understanding of yourself, your relationships, or
your spirituality; such transitions are difficult only
when you give others power over your own life and
mind. Think things over carefully but let your spirit

LIBRA: Ace Cups
Like Virgo, you
find yourself seeing things in a new way, especially
in terms of spirit as your own spiritual understanding

assessment of your development or their attempts to

Life has a
tendency to chain you down, but it’s time to rise

Yes, life has demands that must be met, but meet them
on your own terms. Especially, be alert to situations

work and commitment and you try to honour those ideals

CAPRICORN: 2 Pentacles
It’s
tempting to say to you, Capricorn, “Just say
no” and leave it at that. You know better than
anyone when you do too much for too many, then drop to
the chair feeling frustrated that no one notices that
YOU could use someone doing something for you. Why are
you letting others’ desires or approval take
precedence over your own wisdom? Maybe it’s time
to let them all grow up and take their lumps.
AQUARIUS: 2 Wands
What goals or
dreams have you been postponing - and why? Take a hard
look at the perceived obstacles that have kept you
from taking action. If you are honest and open to new
ways of doing things, you can go around each of them
and make progress on the dreams you want most to
achieve. If you have the desire, you can have the
dream. Get moving!
PISCES: 5 Swords
Honestly examine
your motivations: what drives you to action? If you
find that you are making decisions from a desire to
win, to be victorious, to excel at the battle, beware.
All battles are not created equal, and if the victory
drives you, you will find no end to the fighting.
Instead of looking for fresh occasions for the victory
dance, think about what you truly want and how you can
get it. Leave the fighting to others.
